We appreciate you reaching out to us at TD Helps, Hilary.
Your Dad can absolutely deposit into your account at any TD Bank location. He can check out http://bit.ly/TDStores for Store hours and locations.
If he is unable to visit a TD Bank Store to make a deposit, the option to do a Person-to-Person payment using our Popmoney service is also available. This is one of our newest features on www.tdbank.com. This feature allows you to send money via text, email or by creating a contact. This feature does come with limits on the amount you can send. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1h4ZIkL for all of the exciting details, and here: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for the Terms and Conditions.
In order to be eligible to use the Popmoney service, your father will need to have a TD Bank personal checking or money market account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number, and a valid unique email address.
To initiate a Person-to-Person payment, he'll need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website, or from this link at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
- First, he must enroll in the service. To do so, he can select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of the Online Banking screen.
- Then, he will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm his email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for him.
- Next we will request him to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete he'll be ready to send the payment, and in the next three business days, the funds can be received.
For any assistance with this service, he is welcome to give one of our Tech Support Specialists a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
If your dad is not currently enrolled for Online Banking and he would like to do so for his personal accounts, he may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, he'll need his account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, Social Security Number and email address. Once at the page, he can select "Personal" from the drop down box. When he selects continue, he will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then he will be asked to enter his personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally, he will be asked to create three security questions. When he finishes the enrollment process, he will have immediate access to his account(s).
If he does not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or needs assistance enrolling, he may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-900 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help him get started.
Please note, when sending a Person-to-Person Payment, there are two delivery options, three-day or next-day delivery. To qualify for the next-day delivery option, the sender must wait 90 days from their first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew their account in the past 90 days. Please also note that fees may apply for this service; and for more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions. Enjoy the rest of your day!
