Thank you for sending us your question, Patty. We're glad you contacted us here at TD Helps!
Transferring funds is easier than it has ever been before with our new feature called the "Person-to-Person" transfer, which allows you to send and receive funds via your Online Banking. This feature is free for transfers between TD Bank accounts and it allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store.
To use this feature, you and the person initiating the transfer must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you or this person has not enrolled yet, that can be done for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. To enroll, you/they will need to provide the Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card number, account number, and e-mail address. If you/they do not have a debit or ATM card or need any assistance enrolling please call 800-493-7562 to speak with one of our Digital Specialists available 24/7. Once you both have enrolled for Online Banking, they can select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
Another option is to visit any local TD Bank Store and they would be happy to help! Once there, they can withdraw the funds from their account and request to make a deposit into yours. For this option, all they need is to provide your account number and full name, and the funds will be available to your account immediately. Here is a link for you to view TD Bank location details and hours: http://bit.ly/TDStores .
Thanks again for visiting us, Patty, have a great rest of your day!

I have a follow-up question: it looks like I can only make person-to-person tranfers from my personal account. Can I switch to my business account?
I'd like to transfer money between two TD business accounts (one is my own, the other is another business).

Thanks for joining in, Ashlee. We'd be glad to discuss.
At this time Person-to-Person Payments are unavailable for business accounts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We recommend scheduling a wire or ACH transfer by using BusinessDirect. You are able to log in to your business account by visiting here: http://go.td.com/1rvBmq8. Once logged in, you are able to access the wire and ACH tabs to send funds to your business account outside of TD.
If you are not currently enrolled in BusinessDirect, feel free to do so here: http://go.td.com/1dl2HX6. After you complete the form, you will receive an email within 2 business days that contains your User ID and password.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to a Tech Support Specialist directly 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
If you need immediate access to BusinessDirect, you are able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours to enroll. To take a look at TD Stores and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this clears things up, Ashlee and have a good day.
