I wish to transfer funds electronically into my daughter's passbook savings account- is that allowed?

Thanks for your question, Patricia. We'd be happy to clarify if a passbook account is able to receive funds transfers.
Please know that passbook accounts are generally used for over-the-counter banking with a Teller. These types of accounts are unable to receive wire transfers or transfers completed online at this time; however, these accounts are typically able to receive ACH credits. Keep in mind that ACH credits are deposits scheduled using an account's routing and account numbers.
