Welcome to TD Helps, Winifred. We'd be glad to discuss how accounts work and what their capabilities are.
The access that a signer has for an account all depends on how the account was set up during account opening. For example a joint account has equal rights and access to the account and the funds it may contain.
If you're an authorized signer on the account you've mentioned, we recommend reaching out to us directly so we can review the account with you. To do so, you are able to contact us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
In addition, if you are enrolled for online access, you can send a secure message. To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
If you're not an authorized signer, we recommend expressing your concerns about the account activity at your local TD Store.
Thank you for your question today, Winifred. Take care.
