Thanks for coming to TD Bank today, Wing.
You may order Euros at any TD Bank Store, for locations near you please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. When placing a currency order, it is important to place your order before 3:00pm and allow at least two business days for your Euros to arrive.
To receive the latest exchange rates, please call TD International Services at 888-BNG-INTL (888-264-4685) or you can send them an email by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1pvwJIu. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Because you're going to be traveling, we recommend placing a Travel Notification on your checking account before you leave. You can do so by calling our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visiting a local TD Bank Store. For lobby hours and TD Store locations, we invite you to visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. If you're setup for online banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. If you are not set up for Online Banking, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, Social Security number and ATM/debit card handy to complete the enrollment process.
Cards bearing the Visa logo are accepted at locations all over the world. However, we recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case he encounters any acceptance issues. When making an ATM withdrawal from an international location, please make sure that the ATM machine displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. The TD Bank Debit Card may also be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance if a compatible ATM is not available. Please note non-TD ATM fees still may apply. Many ATMs outside the United States limit withdrawals to checking accounts only, TD Bank Online can be used to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account should more funds be needed.
Have a safe trip and take care!
