Good afternoon, Cassie and thank you for sending your question this way.
If you have an existing Checking or Money Market account with TD Bank and would like to add your spouse on that account, you will need to visit your nearest TD Bank Store, during lobby business hours along with your spouse, so that both signers can sign an updated signature card. To find a TD store location near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please make sure that both parties, including you, bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. Once the new signer has been added to your TD Checking or Money Market account, a new debit card can be issued to him/her instantly.
If you would like to add him/her to your existing TD Savings account, please know that a TD ATM only card can be issued to the new account holder.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Let us know if you have any further questions. We are always here to help. Have a pleasant weekend, Cassie!
