Thanks for writing in, Peter.
You may order foreign currency at any TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For locations and lobby hours of TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. You can expect to pick up your currency within 2-5 business days after your order has been placed. Additionally, please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are using the Euros for traveling, we recommend placing a Travel Notification on your checking and/or savings account before you leave. To place a travel notification, you can call our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Bank Store. If you are setup for Online Banking, another option would be to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first login to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” Please include your travel destination(s) and travel dates. If you are not enrolled for online banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, account number, and e-mail address. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
We hope this helps, Peter and please let us know if you have any other questions.
