I have a check in my moms name that she told me to deposit into my account. I was wondering if that was possible and how I would go about doing that as far as signing the back or anything like that. Thank you in advance for your help.

Thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Nicholas! We'd be happy to help answer your question!
If the check is made out to your mom, you can deposit the check into your account. To deposit a check written to your mom, if she is not a signer on your account, she must sign the back of the check and both parties must be present at the time of deposit. An Endorsement Authorization & Release from must also be signed and can be done at any TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a Store near you.
Please note; government or insurance checks can only be presented for payment from the person listed on the "Payable to" line of the check.
We also invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for more information on our Funds Availability (pages 35-37).
