Hi, I just became president of a professional association and received a check from the association headquarters to get us started. The check is made out to the professional association with my name in parentheses. We don't yet have a bank account, but I do have a personal account with TD. Since the check is made out to me (in parentheses), can I deposit the check into my personal account and reimburse the association when we get our association account set up? Thanks.

Thanks for your question, Julie. We'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
If this is in regard to a U.S. check, we recommend reaching out to a TD Store for clarification. You are able to take a look at our TD Stores and their contact information here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We also notice that you're writing to us from Canada. If this is in regard to a Canadian check, we recommend reaching out to our friends on the Canadian TD Helps Team. You are able to do so here: https://go.td.com/1QBOF4U. Once you submit a question to our friends to the Canadian Team, we're sure they'll be glad to help.
You are also able to reach out to a Representative at TD Canada Trust directly for help. To take a look at their contact options please visit here: https://go.td.com/1woOVay.
