Good morning, Kenneth!
It's great to hear from you today, and we appreciate you bringing your question to TD Helps. We'll be more than happy to help.
Here at TD Bank, anyone is welcome to cash a check that is drawn on TD Bank, and we're happy to also offer our Customer's the ability to cash checks that may be drawn on another financial institution!
When looking to do so, it's important to note that for TD Bank to successfully cash a check drawn on another financial institution, your account will need to have a sufficient enough balance to also cover the amount of the check. In the event that the check you would like to cash is for an amount larger than your current balance, please don't worry, as you're still welcome to deposit this check into your account!
As insurance checks tend to be endorsed for a large amount, we'd like to recommend that you visit your nearest TD Store location to make your deposit, should you be unable to cash this check. If you'd like, you're more than welcome to use the link here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your nearest TD Store location, as well as their lobby hours and contact information.
If you have any questions at all before your visit, you may connect with your nearest TD Store location, or you may also call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our knowledgeable Banking Specialists! For your convenience Banking Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We hope this helped, Kenneth, and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
Take care, and have an excellent day!
