Thanks for connecting with us here on TD Helps, Laya. We'd be happy to review how you may deposit your check.
You can cash the check if it is drawn from TD Bank. If not, you can cash the check againist your account as long as the funds are available in your account until the check clears.
You may also deposit the check into your account with one of our Tellers at any TD Bank Store. If you have been with TD Bank longer than 30 days, you will have $100 dollars available instantly and the remaining amount will clear at the earliest the following business day. If you have been with the bank less than 30 days, there will be nothing available immediately and it can take 7-10 business days to clear.
If you'd prefer, you can make an ATM deposit at one of our TD Bank locations. Deposits made through the ATM prior to 8:00 PM will be available the next banking day. Deposits made through the ATM after 8:00 PM will be considered the next business day and post the following business day. Any ATM transaction made after 8:00pm on Friday is Monday’s banking day and will post Tuesday morning. If Monday is a Federal holiday, the transaction will post Wednesday morning. However, the first $100.00 of your daily ATM deposits (cash or check) is immediately available for accounts opened 90 days or greater.
An ATM deposit made on Saturday will be considered Monday's banking day, and funds will generally be available Tuesday morning. We recommend reviewing our Personal Deposit Account Agreement http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for you to view for more information. On pages 35-37 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Hope this helps, Laya. Have a great night.
