Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Allison.
Please be advised that you are unable to change a Savings account to a Checking account as they are two different product types. However, if you wish to set up a new Checking account, we'll be glad to offer some options.
We offer many different types of Checking accounts. Take a look at our many different types of Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/KmmHe7 for help choosing a Checking account that is the best fit you.
Once you have decided the type of the Checking account you wish to open, you may visit www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at (888) 751-9000 with any questions you may have and set up your new account via telephone.
As always, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank store to speak with a banking specialist regarding new account options to determine what product type fits you the best. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
We hope you find our answer helpful and please don't hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions.
