I opened an account while in America on a university exchange and used my American university housing address. I'm now moving back home to Australia and would like to change the address to my Australian residence. Can this be done?

Thank you for writing into TD Helps today, Alex!
There are many ways to update your contact information. If your account has been opened for at least 30 days and you have been utilizing our TD Online Banking for 30 days, you can log into your account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq to get started. Once in, go to the Customer Service tab on the top right. Under the Self Service heading, choose the option to "Change Address, Phone, Email Address." Here you can update and save your new contact information to be effective within 1-2 business days.
If you're not already registered for Online Banking, you can enroll your account here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Just have your Account Number, TD Bank VISA Debit Card Number and Social Security Number/Tax I.D. Number (TIN) available when you do. Please remember you must be enrolled for online banking for at least 30 days in order to submit your address change request via online secure messages.
Another option would be to mail in a request to update your contact information. Please feel free to mail your request into:
TD Bank, NA 6000 Atrium Way Mt Laurel, NJ 08054 Mail Stop # NJ5-002-215
Please make sure that you properly identify your name and account number, and sign your request for processing.
If these options aren't available to you right now, then you can always reach out to a Banking Specialist to update the information for your Personal account. We're here 24 hours a day and after authenticating your account, would be happy to update any contact information we have on file. If you are calling from Australia, please dial direct 1-856-751-9000 or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518 if you are able to gain access to a land line phone.
If you're looking to change your address on a TD Bank Visa Credit Card, it can be changed by calling a TD Card Services Specialist at 888-561-8861 or by logging into http://bit.ly/1lVKil9. After logging in you will need to click on "Services" and then choose the option to "Manage Credit Card." There you will see an option to "Update Address and Phone Number."
If you're looking to change the address for a Personal Loan, Home Equity Loan (HELOC), or Line of Credit, we recommend speaking with a Financial Solutions Group Specialist at 800-937-5020. A Change of Address form may be necessary before completing this request.
We hope this information is useful to you and have a good one!

The online banking "Change Address, Phone, E-mail Address" tab doesn't give me the option to change the address to one outside the United States. I want to set it to an Australian address but this is not an available option... Is there any way to get around this?

Thanks for coming back to TD Helps, Alex! We'll be glad to assist you.
If you are unable to change your address through Online Banking, there are a couple of other ways that it can be changed. You can send us a secured message through Online Banking requesting the address change. Please sign into your account and select ''Send a Secure Message''; which is located underneath the Message Center on the left hand side of the page. You may also contact us internationally 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or with operator assistance via collect dialing 00+1-215-569-0518 from a non-mobile telephone. Once our Banking Specialists verifies your account information, they can change your address for you. Please keep in mind that the address change should reflect within 2-3 business days and on your next statement.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions. Take care, Alex!

My Debit card and Credit card are expiring soon. I am overseas in Dubai, UAE for business for a few months and would like my cards to arrive while I am overseas. How can I update my personal profile address to my overseas address so that my cards arrive directly to me?

It's nice of you to join us here on TD Helps, John.
If your current TD Bank VISA Debit Card is expiring, then we will automatically reissue a new card to the address you have on file with us approximately 4-6 weeks before expiration. Please be aware that if you are abroad for an extended period of time, we can update your account to include a temporary foreign mailing address while keeping your permanent address still on record. This way, we can send your new card to your current location wherever you're at!
You can update your mailing address we have on file several ways. If you are already enrolled in TD Bank Online Banking for longer than 30 days, you can log in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you go to the Customer Service tab on the top right, you can update your mailing information before the new card is sent out. Just click on the option to "Change Address, Phone, E-Mail Address" under the Self Service heading and within 24-48 hours we'll update your account with your current location!
Another option to update your mailing address would be to mail in a request to update your contact information. Please feel free to mail your request to:
TD Bank, NA 6000 Atrium Way Mt Laurel, NJ 08054 Mail Stop # NJ5-002-215
Please make sure that you properly identify your name and account number (and Business name if applicable), and sign your request for processing.
If these options aren't available to you right now, then you can always reach out to a Banking Specialist to update the information for your Personal account (or even order you a new card early) at 888-751-9000. We're here 24 hours a day and after authenticating your account, would be happy to update any contact information we have on file. If you are currently outside the United States you may do so by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
If you have not yet done so, please reach out to our Credit Card department to have a new Credit Card mailed out you. They are available 24/7 and can be reached at 706-644-3266 while calling from outside the United States. Upon account verification, they should also able to make an arrangement to have a new credit card mailed to you.
Let us know if you have any other questions and have a nice day.
