Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Carol.
If you have a TD ATM/Visa Debit Card, you can stop by any ATM to check your balance. Please note, if you visit a non-TD Bank ATM, there may be additional fees applied for this service. For more information about our current fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We'd like to take this opportunity to share with you that there are other convenient ways you can check your account balance and transactions free of charge. We'd be more than happy to guide you through.
If you are already enrolled for our Online Banking, you would be able to view your TD account balance online right after logging in to your account. You may also view the transactions as well. Please login to your account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, and you'll immediately be shown the Accounts page, where you can view your current balances. If you'd like more information, click on the individual account to view recent activity.
If you're not currently enrolled and would like to take advantage of this free service you may click here: http://bit.ly/1lqyp6r. Please have your account number, ATM/debit card number and Social Security number available to complete the enrollment. The page will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to complete the process. If you have any questions, please call our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for further assistance.
If you have a Business account with us and are looking to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect, we can also assist with this! Please follow this link: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your email address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an email confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and Password. In case you don't have a debit card or would like to have immediate access to online banking, you could visit your local TD Bank Store for help. For hours and locations near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, you can also access up-to-the-minute account balance and transaction information 24 hours a day/7 days a week by calling our automated banking system (IVR) at 1-800-937-2000, contacting our dedicated Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or by visiting one of our convenient locations near you.
We hope you find our answer helpful and please don't hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions.
