I recently created another TD Student Checking account, but I would like to cancel it. I selected the option for a card to be sent to my address, but I don't want the account or the card. There was not information in the confirmation email regarding the details of my account, so I am unsure how to close/cancel it and the card being sent. I currently have a joint account with TD and with online banking, which I would like to keep. Thank you.

Good morning, Garrett! Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question.
We'd be happy to help you get this account closed.
As long as the account is still at a zero balance, which it sounds like it may be, we can close it at your request by phone or by secure message through your online banking. To ask us to close it by phone, simply give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
If there is a balance, or you're simply in the neighborhood, stop in to see us at any TD Bank Store and we'd be happy to close out the account for you. To find a location near you, click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We look forward to hearing from you soon. Have a great day, Garrett!
