I would like to consolidate two TD savings accounts into one new TD Money Market account. How do I close the two savings accounts, open a new account, and transfer the savings into that account? Thank you.

This sounds like a great idea, Kay! We'd be glad to help.
It can be so helpful to consolidate your funds into an account that makes sense for you. You have a couple of different options to get this done.
First, you can stop in to see us at any local TD Bank Store to be assisted in person. We'll be happy to open your new account for you. We can then withdraw the balances in your current savings accounts and close them both out on the spot. The whole process won't take long at all! To find a Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We'd also be happy to do this for you by phone. Just give us a call at 888-751-9000. We have Specialists available 24/7 who will open your new account and transfer the funds from your existing accounts. Once we've zeroed out your savings accounts, we can put in a request for them to be closed. It should take approximately 2-3 business days for the closure to be completed.
Finally, you may be able to complete all of this online! You'll want to start by opening your new account. You can find all of our Savings accounts here: https://go.td.com/2bSlkVn. When you find the account you'd like, just click the orange 'Open Account' button to get started. Once you've finished the opening your new account, it may take one business day for it to appear in your online banking. You may be able to expedite this by giving us a call at the number above or by sending us a secure message through your online banking. To send a secure message, log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We can generally respond within 24 hours or less.
Once you've got full access to the new account online, you can initiate transfers to move the balances from your savings accounts into your new account. After you've brought those to a zero balance, you can send us a new secure message requesting that they be closed. Again, it will take approximately 2-3 business days for the closure to be completed.
We hope one of these options will work for you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here or using one of the methods above.
Have a great weekend, Kay, and Happy Holidays!
