Hi Bobby, we appreciate you joining us here at TD Helps. We're happy to say, we have a few options available to transfer funds from your TD account to your daughters TD account.
First, if you are a signer on her account, you can transfer funds directly from your account to her account via Online Banking at no charge to you! If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Once you're enrolled, sign into your account and click on the "Transfer" tab.
If you're not currently a signer on her account and would like to be so you can take advantage of the transfer service described above, we ask that you and your daughter visit any TD location with photo ID. To find a TD location near you please view our Store locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you prefer not to be listed on her account, there's another option via Online Banking you may use, it's called Person-To-Person Payments. This feature will allow you to transfer funds from your TD Checking or Money Market account to someone else's account either at TD, or any other financial institution within the United States! For all of the details on this feature check out: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim.
To use this feature you must be enrolled in Online Banking and have a US address on file. Once you have logged into your Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person Payment” tab to enroll. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email address and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and the email address we have on file for you. Next, we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete, you’ll be ready to send the payment which your daughter will receive in one business day or three business days as per your selection. Please note to qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. Please see the following link for all applicable fees included in our fee schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Lastly, if you know your daughters account number, you may also visit any TD location to withdraw funds from your account and deposit into her account.
We hope these options will be helpful for you, Bobby and if you have any additional questions, we'd love to hear back from you! Enjoy your day.
