I do not have a smartphone and I am not in the area of any TD Banks, but I need to deposit a check.

Thanks for reaching us on TD Helps, Abigail. We'd be happy to help you make a deposit if you're not near a TD Store.
Though you are unable to make a deposit using your computer at this time, we do have other options available. One way to make that deposit is be using our Bank-by-Mail service.
To do so, please clearly write your account number and the words; “For Deposit Only” on the back of your check and mail it to:

The P.O. Box listed above is checked daily and transactions will be posted on the day they are received. Please note that TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
Like any other deposits, a few simple guidelines apply:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail.
- Payee of the check and name on account should be the same.
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
You have the ability to make deposits at non-TD ATMs as long as it is listed as a NYCE shared deposit ATM. Keep in mind that any deposits made at non-TD Bank ATMs will take longer to clear your account. Check deposits made with your card at these ATMs can take up to seven business days after the deposit is made while cash deposits can take up to five business days.
