Great question, Elizabeth!
If you're listed as the sole owner of the account, we ask that both you and your husband visit one of our Stores to deposit the check with a Teller. An Endorsement Authorization & Release Form must be completed at the time of the deposit. Please note that each of you would be required to present valid identification (such as a Driver's License, State ID or Passport) in order to make the deposit. Feel free to find a listing of our Stores closest to you at http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note; government or insurance checks can only be presented for payment from the person listed on the "Payable to" line of the check.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
