I have got a $10,000 check and the mobile app says it exceeds the limit. I will be out of country for 3 months and i was wondering whether i could just deposit it through online just in case.

Mobile Deposit limits depend on the length of your relationship with TD Bank. At this time, the limits to the amounts you can deposit using the Mobile Deposit feature are as follows:
3-6 months, deposit up to: - Daily Limit: $1,000 - 30-day Limit: $2,500
6-12 months, deposit up to: - Daily Limit: $2,500 - 30-day Limit: $3,500
More than 1 year, deposit up to: - Daily Limit: $2,500 - 30-day Limit: $6,000

If the amount of the check exceeded your Mobile Deposit limits, you have other options to deposit your checks. You may make your deposits at your local TD Bank store, at a TD ATM or you may mail your checks to our Banking by Mail department. Banking by mail is simple, and easy. All you would need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:

The P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day.

- Cash should not be sent through the mail - Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same - Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only") - Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed - Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy - If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly - Do not staple transactions.
Since you plan to travel, we recommend contacting us with your trip information to prevent any decline to your cards while you're away. Although we're unable to place a note on your account via TD Helps, as this is considered an unsecured forum, you can do so by calling our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and we will be happy to place your notification.
Another easy way to set a travel notification is to send us a Secure Message from your TD Bank Online Banking account. Please log in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq with your user name and password. You can then send us a secure message by clicking on the Customer Service tab, and using the Send a Message link. Please include your exact travel dates, destinations and any connecting flight information if applicable.
