Thanks for joining us here on TD Helps, Cristina.
At most TD Bank locations, we can exchange foreign currency and deposit it into your account. Please check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to learn more about our locations and lobby hours. Since you mention that you have a check, please know that we can accept check deposits in most currencies deposited into your TD Bank account via a Teller. These deposits may take longer to clear and become available than a check drawn in U.S. funds however; and foreign collection exchange fees may apply. For details on fees that may apply, please review our current Personal Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. Although it is not required, prior to you stopping in we do recommend that you reach out to the location you intend to visit to confirm that they offer these services.
Additionally, you can receive the latest exchange rates by calling TD International Services at 888-BNG-INTL (888-264-4685) or you can send them an email by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1pvwJIu. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Let us know if you have more questions and take care!

i went to TD branch in Square 1 to deposit a Philippine peso check to my TD account here. I was told that TD does not accept & if I will proceed to deposit , the check will be sent to "collections". However, I went to TD Branch to inquire if I can deposit as I am expecting a check and was advised that it is ok but clearing will take at least a month.
Please advise how to proceed, I have been with TD for 11 years and all my banking transactions are with TD(checking, savings, mutual funds investment, mortgage, TD infinte visa).
I was just so disappointed that the manager form SQ1 branch can't help me.
