Hi Roger, thanks for connecting with us today at TD Helps. You came to the right place with questions about our TD Bank Mobile Deposit or Bank-by-Mail options. If you are already enrolled for Online Banking and are familiar with the TD Bank Mobile App, please know that our Mobile Deposit option is available for most iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices and to Customers who have been banking with us at least 90 days or more. The TD Bank Mobile Deposit does have limits depending on the length of your relationship with TD Bank. Please also keep in mind that our $100 same day availability for deposits does not apply to Mobile Deposits. You can find this information along with other FAQs about the TD Bank Mobile Deposit here: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF. If you aren't familiar with the Mobile App, you can find more information and even download the App here: http://bit.ly/1opBqUt. If you have not yet enrolled in Online Banking though, you'll need to enroll in that first so that you can sign in to the Mobile App. You can enroll in Online Banking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You can then use the Mobile App to deposit any check except the following: · Checks that are not payable to you or your joint account holder · Checks that have already been deposited · Foreign checks (drawn on a bank that is located outside of the United States and/or not payable in U.S. Dollars) Banking by mail is also very easy! Any check you have (that does not fall into the categories above) can be mailed into the address below: TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033, P.O. Box Number 1190, Lewiston, Maine 04243 This P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day. If you need to use Fed-EX or UPS to mail in a Deposit to us, you can send it to this address: TD Bank Bank-by-Mail, 140 Mill Street, Lewiston, ME 04243 We recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pg.39-42) to learn more about our funds availability policy for any of these deposit methods. Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit: - Cash should not be sent through the mail - Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same - Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only") - Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed - Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy - If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly - Do not staple transactions If you'd prefer, you could always bring the checks into the nearest TD Bank Store when you have the time. You can find your local Store locations and hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Also Roger, we notice that you're reaching out to us from Toronto, so just in case you bank with us through TD Canada Trust, we wanted to provide you with a helpful link about TDCT Mobile Deposits here: http://bit.ly/1vcFvTe. Also, here's some great information about our Bank-by-Mail service in Canada: http://bit.ly/1q4K8wx. As always, you can reach out to a TDCT EasyLine Specialist at 866-222-3456 any time of the day or night. We're available on either side of the border 24/7 to help you with your banking needs! Hope this helps Roger. Please reach out to us at 888-751-9000 if you have any other questions about our Bank-By-Mail option or the TD Bank Mobile App or Mobile Deposit feature. Have a great day!
