Hello! I am currently on a GapYear in Europe. And I want to deposit money on my TD Bank Debit Card. Is there another option than doing an international transfer? These transfers can get quite expensive

Thanks for stopping by today, Yvonne! Great question.
We know it can definitely get pricey to continuously send wire transfers. We do have other options that may help.
If it’s a U.S. check that you're looking to deposit, you should be able to make a mobile deposit using our app. If you've downloaded our app to your smart phone or tablet, just log in as normal and select the camera icon. If you've never used mobile deposit before, you'll need to enroll in that service by accepting the terms and conditions. Once completed, you'll be able to make your first deposit right away. You'll be asked to photograph the front and back of the check and confirm the dollar amount. Once you've verified everything looks good and is correct, just go ahead and submit it. Most mobile deposits are available as the early as the next business day and there is no cost for using this service!
If you do not have our app, you may have some difficulty downloading it while abroad as we are a U.S. based bank. In that case, we also want to make you aware that we offer a Bank-by-Mail option. This is also a free service, but will take a bit longer than mobile deposits. To use Bank-by-Mail, you just send us the check along with a deposit slip or letter with your name and account number and we will deposit it into your account. We post all deposits for the date that they are received. We do not recommend sending cash by mail.
We hope this info helps. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here or by phone. To contact us by phone from outside of the United States, please use country code 011 and call 856-751-9000 or call us collect from a landline with operator assistance at 215-569-0518. We have representatives available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help.
We hope you're enjoying your time abroad, Yvonne!
