I need to deposit money into my friend's account but do not have her account number. She is currently out of the country. How can I do this?

Great to have you with us Cheryl,
If you'd like to deposit funds to your friend's account at one of our Stores but don't have her account number, we would first recommend giving a call to your preferred Store or stopping in during lobby hours. They may be able to locate the account for you using another method. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
In case that option doesn't work for you, if you bank with us yourself, we'd like to tell you about our Person-to-Person Transfers feature, which you could use to transfer funds to her without her account number (although that can also be used with this service). We invite you here: http://bit.ly/1h4ZIkL for a little more information. In lieu of her account number, you'll be able to send her the funds using her email address or cell phone number and she'll receive instructions via the same on how to claim them. We'll be happy to walk you through the enrollment for this service to get you started.
If you are already enrolled in Online Banking, you can click here to log in: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. After logging in to your account, you can click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the funds.
When sending a transfer, you will have two delivery options, three-day or next-day delivery. To qualify for the next-day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. For the Transfers Terms and Conditions you can take a look at: http://bit.ly/1lkiC6K. Nominal fees may also apply and you're welcome to check out our current Fee Schedule for more info: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking for your personal accounts, no worries - we have you covered! You may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit card, your Social Security number and your email address. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
Just in case you're missing any of the information you would need to set up Online Banking, or if you need assistance with enrolling or a transfer, you can get in touch with our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
If you bank with another financial institution, you might like to get in touch with them to see if they can offer you a similar option or others.
We certainly hope this helps, Cheryl!
We wish you good luck with this and have a great one.
