I have checking accounts at TD that are in my name only and would like to know if I can deposit my boyfriend's payroll check as long as he and/or both of us endorse it.

Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question, Debra.
You are able to deposit your boyfriend's payroll checks into your account. Since he's not on the account, we would require that you both visit one of our Stores during lobby hours so that he can sign an Endorsement Release. This form states that he is providing permission for a check made payable to him to be deposited into an account he does not have access to. This form will need to be signed each time you want to deposit his payroll check or any check made payable to him into your personal account.
You also have the option of adding him to your account. If this is done, the Endorsement Release form would not be necessary. To add a signer to your account, you can visit any one of our Stores. To find a Store near you, click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call. We're available 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope you both have a great day!
