Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Scott. We'd be glad to help you make a deposit via the ATM!
You'll be happy to know that you are able to deposit bot TD and non-TD Checks to your account by using the ATM!
It is important to endorse the back of the check when depositing a check into the ATM. Once you’re ready to make your deposit, input your debit or ATM only card into the ATM and follow the below instructions (which will also be shown on the touchscreen):
- Enter your PIN
- Choose “Deposit”
- Select “Yes, To Continue”
- Choose the desired account type
- For deposit type, choose “check”
- Hit “Continue when ready”
- Put in your deposit
- Make sure the deposit on the screen is correct
-Then, select “Finish Deposit”
- You will then have the option to choose “yes or no” for your receipt; if you select “yes” you will be able to view the check image on your receipt.
Please note; the full amount of a check deposit made through the ATM before 8:00 PM will usually be available on the next business day. However, check deposits made through the ATM after 8:00 PM will be considered the next day's business and will post to your account on the following business day. If you make an ATM deposit after 8:00 PM on a Friday, that deposit is considered to be on Monday's business day and will post to your account on Tuesday.
If your account has been opened longer than 90 days, any check deposit made at a TD ATM will have the first $100.00 of your daily ATM deposits immediately available in your account. If your account has not yet been opened for 90 days, please note that the first $100.00 will not be made available at the time of the deposit. However, longer delays may apply under certain circumstances; for more information, we recommend reviewing our Personal Deposit Account Agreement http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
