Thanks for coming by TD Helps today. We'd be happy to help.
To deposit someone else's check into your account, both yourself and the other party must visit a local TD Store with valid ID and sign the "Endorsement Authorization and Release" form. If the check is over $1000, this form must be also be notarized. This document allows you to deposit the check into your account even if the other party is not listed as the signer on the account. Please note that your account will be debited for the check if it is returned. Government or insurance issued checks will not be accepted unless your husband is a signer on the depositing account.
If you have any additional questions feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit a TD location. For a listing of our Stores and their hours please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps. Have a good day.
