Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Michelle. We'd be happy to go over direct deposit with you.
Direct deposit is a great way to ensure your funds are available to you immediately rather than waiting for a deposited check to clear. If you are receiving a pay check from your employer, your husband's account would be able to accept the deposit without issue. If you are receiving a government deposit, the funds would need to be deposited into an account with your name on it.
Depending on your employer you may use either the Direct Deposit Authorization Form, which can be found here: http://bit.ly/1hLQ1cP, or your husband may use a blank voided check to set up the direct deposit.
You may also stop by a TD Store, during lobby hours, for assistance in obtaining the Direct Deposit Authorization Form. For a list of Store locations and hours, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Michelle and if you have any other questions please let us know.
