To initiate a domestic or international wire transfer from your personal account, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other financial institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Please see the link listed below for all applicable fees that may apply.
However, if you are looking to send funds domestically you may be able to use our Person-to-Person transfer feature via your Online Banking. This feature allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store. To use this feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have not enrolled in Online Banking yet, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have any of the information mentioned, please call our 24/7 Banking Specialists at 888-751-9000 to enroll. Once you’ve enrolled for Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature. In order to be eligible to use this service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a personal TD Bank personal Checking or Money Market account for the transfer.
If you are using TD Business Direct, you are able to send domestic wires from your online account. To use this feature, you must first be logged in to BusinessDirect. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8. Wire transfers can be accessed through the "Wires" tab. By selecting "click here," via the Wires tab you will have to answer 3 questions in order to enroll. Once your application is submitted, a message will appear; letting you know that you will receive a confirmation telephone call within the next two business days. Please note that if you do not receive a call or if you miss the call from our Representatives, you will have to go into a TD Store near you to complete the enrollment request. If you prefer, you may also use ACH transfers and Bill Pay from BusinessDirect to schedule your payment as well.
If you are not currently enrolled in BusinessDirect and would like to be, you may begin the enrollment process here: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6. You will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Tax Identification Number and email address to complete the process. After your application is submitted, you will receive an email within 2 business days that includes your User ID and password. If you would like you are also able to visit a TD Store during lobby hours to enroll.

We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.

I want to send a wire for $2,500 from my TD Relationship Account from Colombia to a non-
TD Bank account in the US. Am I able to do so? Is there a limit on how much I can send when I am abroad?

If you review the reply above, we mention that in order to send a wire from a TD account, you must visit a TD Store during lobby hours.
We do offer a feature known as Send Money. To do so, you must first log in to Online Banking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq or sign in to your Mobile Banking App. Once logged in, please follow the steps below:
1. Open your Personal Online Banking access and access the Send Money tab.
2. Click on the green Send box from the three options shown.
3. Choose a Recipient from your saved contacts list.
4. Select Enter amount and fill in the desired amount for your transfer.
5. Choose the Select Delivery box. The next screen allows you to choose the date of the single transfer or you may check to make this a recurring payment.
6. Click on Review to ensure that the information entered is accurate. Here you may also add an optional note in the Reason box.
7. Select Send. Your confirmation screen will appear to let you know it's complete.
Please know that there are limits to this service. You may log in to the Site to view your individual transaction limits by clicking on the information icon to the right of the amount box within either the External Transfer or Send Money Service, as applicable
