Thank you so much for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Vegas. We are happy to help clear up some confusion.
You will need to have the amount of the check or more in order for a cashier's check to be issued from your account.
Please know, there is a fee to get a Money Order or Official (Cashier's) Check from the bank. Currently, there is a $5.00 fee to receive a Money Order and an $8.00 fee to receive an Official Check. Please note that these fees are subject to change and you can review our most up-to-date Personal Fee Schedule here: http://go.td.com/1cTejgt.
Since you mentioned that you are already a TD Bank Customer however, please know that these fees may be waived depending on the type of account(s) that you have with us. If you currently have one of the following products, then any fees for Money Orders or Official Checks are waived as a courtesy:
• TD Sixty Plus Checking • TD Premier and Private Premier Checking • TD Relationship and Private Relationship Checking • Private Tiered Checking • 50 Plus and Private 50 Plus Checking • TD and Private High-Yield Savings • Elite Savings • TD Relationship Savings • Select and Private Select Money Market • Plus and Private Plus Money Market • TD Business Premier Checking
When you're ready to pick one up, just go ahead and stop by the nearest TD Store found here: http://go.td.com/TDStores for assistance.
We are always here to help, Vegas. Feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions.
