Thank you for bringing your question to TD Helps today, Tia. We appreciate you considering us for your banking needs.
TD Bank offers many different types of personal Checking accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit you.
Once you've decided on which account is best for you, you can open the account via the internet by clicking on the "Open Account" box which will be listed at the bottom of each account details. To get started, you'll need the following: Your Social Security number, and one of the following: Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
Just in case you run into any problems during the process or if you prefer to open an account by phone, you could also give us a call at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Our Representatives are available 24/7 and are ready to help answer any questions and open that account for you! You are also more than welcome to open your new account at your nearest TD Bank store. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
During the account opening process, you may also order a TD ATM Card or Visa Debit Card and checks. If you choose to open your new account at a TD Bank location, you will be able to obtain your ATM or Visa Debit Card as soon as your new account is set up. If you choose to open your new checking account via the internet or telephone, your new card and checks will be shipped to your address on file within 7-10 business days upon request.
Noticing you have mentioned you will be receiving direct deposits, we'd like to invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1sSvhT6, where you can view and print our already prepared form. Once you print it, just fill in your personal information and hand the completed form to your Employer and they'll do the rest!
We would like to take this opportunity to advise you that TD Bank remains committed to maintaining a high level of Customer satisfaction. We hope you find our answer helpful and please don't hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions.
