I have had a Simple Savings account for about 7 months now, and have an ATM card. However, I was wondering if I would be able to apply for a debit card for the account. Is this possible?

Welcome to TD Helps, Garrett!
It's great to hear from you this afternoon, and we'll be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Here at TD Bank, debit cards are used for the purpose of making purchases in stores, online, over the phone, or even by using your smart phone. As we do not recommend processing everyday transactions on a Savings account, TD Bank Debit Cards are unfortunately only available for Checking accounts. However, in the event that you would like to open a Checking account to receive a debit card, you may then link your Savings account to this same card so that you may make savings withdrawals at TD or non-TD ATMs.
If you currently do not have a Checking account, and you're interested in opening an account so that you may obtain a debit card, we'd first like to invite you to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu to learn more about all the different accounts offered. If you have any trouble deciding on which account best fits your needs, you can also use our Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E. We've also provided a link here: https://go.td.com/2eVSt4u just in case you're interested in learning more about the features and benefits that comes with one of TD Bank's Debit Cards.
When you're ready to open your new account, you may use the link above to get started, or you may also connect with us directly. Banking Specialists can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by simply dialing 1-888-751-9000. Additionally, our Customer Service Representatives are here to help during lobby hours at any number of our Store locations. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Once your Checking account has been successfully opened, you may then request a debit card, as well as to have your Savings account added to your card. To make this request, you may speak with a Specialist during your account opening process, or if you decided to open your account online, you may connect with us at any of the methods mentioned above, and we'll be happy to help.
We hope this cleared up any confusion, Garrett, and we thank you again for joining us on TD Helps.
