It's great of you to stop by TD Helps, Isaac. The answer to your question may vary depending on a couple of things.
Some credit card issuers may allow you to make a cash advance from your card. To get more details about this process, we first recommend that you reach out to your card issuer to determine if they allow this and if your card is setup to allow these types of cash advances. We also recommend confirming if any restrictions and/or fees may apply.
If you have a credit card from a financial institution which does allow cash advances, and you have established a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your card with your institution, then yes, you should be able to process a cash advance at any one of our ATM locations. An ATM usage fee of $3.00 may apply for this service and please know that this fee may be subject to change.
Also, if your card issuer does allow this service, and you intend to make a larger cash advance, then please know at any TD Bank Store location we can process cash advances from any Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card up to $5000 per day per card. We apologize but we currently do not accept American Express Cards in our Stores for larger over-the-counter Cash Advances. American Express cardholders with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) can still process a Cash Advance by accessing one of our ATMs.
With either of these processes your physical card must be present to process an advance as well as having a valid photo ID with you (Driver's License, Passport, State-Issued ID, etc). Check out: http://bit.ly/1f9DSJR to find a TD Bank Store closest to you to make your cash advance!
If you are a TD Bank Customer, and looking to inquire about our optional TD Debit Card Advance Service in order to avoid Debit Card declines, please take a look at this page for more detailed info about this feature: http://bit.ly/1AlCYEy. With this service we may authorize ATM transactions or one-time debit card purchases even if the funds are not available in your account at the time of the transaction. Please note that as this is a discretionary service, and a purchase or ATM withdrawal on your account may be declined even if you are enrolled in this feature. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps Isaac and hope you have a great one.
