I have a convenience checking account right now with TD, so could I switch it to a Student Checking account? Or would I have to stick with my convenience checking?

Great question, Gaby and thanks for reaching out to us! We're happy to assist you.
You are welcome to change the type of account you may have to another at any time, as long as you meet the requirements for the account. Feel free to check out the requirements for the TD Student checking account at http://bit.ly/1f9fEn9 by scrolling down to the TD Student listing at the bottom of the page. You can also click on "View more details" for further info. Please note that a checking account can only be converted to another type of checking and so forth.
If you find that you're eligible for this account type, we encourage you to stop in at any nearby TD Bank Store with your identification and proof of your active student status, such as a student ID, or a bill or receipt of payment from your educational institution. You'll find a listing of our Stores convenient for you here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Gaby, we hope this helps you with your account. Please let us know about any questions you may have and take care.
