Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Karen. We'd be happy to assist you.
You are more than welcome to visit a TD Store to deposit funds into your account to then wire them to TD Ameritrade. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
If you prefer to not visit a TD Store and you are enrolled in Online Banking, you are also able to use our External Transfer service if you're transferring to your TD Ameritrade account. First, you will have to log in to your account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
To initiate an External Transfer, after logging onto your account, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule.
After the enrollment is completed, you may continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes. You’re welcome to check out: http://bit.ly/1jXKYqq for all of the exciting details.
When sending an External Transfer, you will have two delivery options, three-day or next-day delivery. To qualify for the next-day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. Please note, fees may apply for the External Transfer service.
For the Transfers Terms and Conditions please see: http://bit.ly/1lkiC6K, and for more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If it is not your TD Ameritrade account that you're transferring into, you are able to use our Person-to-Person payment service. To send a Person-to-Person payment, first log in to your account via the second link mentioned above. Next you will have to select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment!
The delivery options as well as the Terms and Conditions are the same as mentioned above.
If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you are able to do so at any time by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security Number and email address to enroll. If you have any trouble doing so, feel free to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store.
We hope this helps, Karen and have a great day.
