My mother wants to open an account and add 5 beneficiaries to the personal account. Is that allowed?

Thanks for your question, Carol. We'd be glad to discuss beneficiaries with you.
An account at TD is able to have multiple beneficiaries added to an account. Additionally, beneficiaries do not need to be present during the account opening process. However, the primary account holder will need to provide the beneficiary's full name along with Social Security Number and date of birth. Your mother will also need to bring your Social Security Number and a valid Photo I.D. such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
We also recommend reaching out to the TD Store prior to your trip to determine if any additional information is required. You're able to visit here http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR for TD Bank Store locations and hours.
We hope to see your mother at a TD Store soon, Carol and have a good day.
