I want to open up a savings account and have my sister in law on it. What personal information do you need from her ? Or can I just add her name ?

Thanks for your question, Allison! We'd be glad to help.
If you have an existing savings account, you are able to add a signer anytime! You and your potential signer would need to visit a TD Store during lobby hours with a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.). To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you are planning on opening an account, you both are able to visit a TD Store to open a joint account!
If you are unable to visit a TD Store right now, you are able to establish a savings account on your own and add a signer later. We recommend taking a look at the savings accounts we have to offer here: http://go.td.com/1pJT9I9. You are also able to receive a custom recommendation here: http://go.td.com/1hXi2wF.
Once you've decided on the account you'd like to open, you're able to open your new account online by selecting "Open Account," by visiting a TD Store or calling us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We hope this helps, Allison and have a good day!
