Welcome to TD Helps, Bill!
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Here at TD Bank, you are able to open as many Checking or Savings accounts as you see fit, and within 24 hours of opening your new account, both should be accessible through your Personal Online Banking log-in!
It sounds as though you may already be familiar with our deposit accounts; however, we'd like to take a moment to provide you with more information, just in case. We first offer Checking accounts, which you can find here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu. We also offer Savings accounts, and you're welcome to use this link: https://go.td.com/2bSlkVn to learn more. If you have trouble deciding, please don't hesitate to use our Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E, which can help by making a personalized recommendation, based on your needs.
When you're ready to open your new account, you're welcome to use the links above. After finding the account that best fits your needs, simply click the orange 'Open Account' button to get started. If you would prefer to open your account with one of our Specialist, you can call 1-888-751-9000. Banking Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can even make a recommendation for you.
As always, you also have the option of visiting your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this provides you with some peace of mind, Bill, and please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Have an amazing weekend.
