can i increase the cap on how much i can take out of an ATM from my debit card?

Here at TD Bank, you are able to increase the limits on your Debit or ATM Card by simply connecting with a Specialist in whichever way is the most convenient for you. For your convenience, we'll be happy to provide you with all the different options you may have.
First, you're welcome to call and speak with one of our Banking Specialists, 24/7, by simply dialing 1-888-751-9000, or if you'd prefer, you're also welcome to send us a secure message to make your limit increase request. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
It's important to note that by making your request over the phone or through secure message, your request will be valid for a 24 hour period so that you may make your large purchase or withdrawal. In the event that you need to make a permanent limit increase, we ask that you visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives.
