Good afternoon, Marlene,
Great to have you and it's awesome to hear you'll be traveling to Europe!
We're happy to discuss your travel needs with you. Since you've reached us here at TD Bank in the States, if you happen to bank with us here, you would be more than welcome to use any of our prepaid card options anywhere Visa is accepted. Feel free to take a look at our various cards here: http://bit.ly/1HRQcyr. We apologize that Euro cannot be loaded to any of these cards; however, the available U.S. funds may still be used while traveling if the merchant accepts Visa.
As another option, you're also more than welcome to purchase Euro in cash prior to your trip as well, and you can do so at any of our Stores: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We see that you're located in Nanaimo, Marlene. If you bank with our partners at TD Canada Trust, you might like to post your question here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr on their TD Helps page. They may be able to help with a few options; also see here: http://bit.ly/1MDGf6U for a bit more info about prepaid cards with them.
We hope this will help you get started, Marlene.
Wishing you a fantastic time in Europe and safe travels!
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
