Welcome to TD Helps, Tammy. We'd be happy to help you make a deposit into your son's account.
If you are an authorized signer on your son's account, you are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Representatives will be glad to make a transfer from your account to your son.
Please know that if you are not a signer on your son's account, you will not be able to call and make a transfer.
You are able to make a deposit to your son's account by visiting a TD Store either in the lobby or drive up window. You will need to know your son's account number in order to make a deposit at a TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If your son uses Online Banking with us, he is able to request funds from you by using our Person-to-Person Payment feature.
This feature is also available to your son by logging into his Online Banking. He may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." He will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm his email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for him. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete he’ll be ready to request the payment!
He may follow the following steps to Schedule a Payment Request:
-Navigate to the Request Money tab.
-Start typing a contact name to select the contact from the list or add the contact.
-Enter the Amount, either a Fixed amount or an Open amount.
-Select the Account to Deposit To.
-Check [Add a due date] to add a due date for the funds.
-Enter email details in the Email Message field.
-Select [Add a note to this transaction] to add a note to this transaction that is not seen by the recipient.
Please note that there may be fees for the use of the above services. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If your son is not currently enrolled in Online Banking, he will first have to enroll to utilize Person-to-Person Payments. He can do so at any time by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. He will need his account number, ATM/Debit Card number and Social Security Number available to complete the enrollment.
If he has any trouble, he is able to give us a call 24/7 by dialing the number above or by visiting a TD Store.
If you have any further questions, Tammy feel free to let us know! Take care
