Can I open a account today and pay for the fee for Simply Checking with my direct deposit because of my working hours?

Thanks for your interest in an account with TD, Amber! We'd be glad to help!
First, we recommend taking a look at the checking accounts we have to offer. You are able to take a look here: https://go.td.com/1aFGBWX or use our Checking Selector at: https://go.td.com/1vW1xnU for a custom recommendation.
Once you're ready to open an account, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," by calling 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We recommend reviewing the checking account links above to determine if there are any fees for your account type. Keep in mind that maintenance fees are assessed at the close of your statement period.
As you mentioned that you plan on setting up direct deposit, we offer a Direct Deposit Authorization form here: https://go.td.com/1hLQ1cP. Simply print the form after your account is opened, fill in the information and turn it in to your depositor. They'll be sure to handle the rest.
We hope this helps, Amber, and have a good day.
