I am just moving back to Pa but due to family issues here it will take a few months before I can truly get to change my license back to PA but was told I could not open a account since I did not have a PA license is that true?

There are several ways to open an account with us: online, over the phone, or in person. As you mentioned that your identification may have been issued out of the area however, we do recommend that you step inside your nearest TD Store location for assistance. There should be no problem opening an account with us given that you have a valid ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport) and U.S. Social Security number.
In most cases, we must setup your account(s) using the address listed on your identification however; so for this reason we recommend reaching out to the Store you intent to visit ahead of time to confirm if any additional documentation may be necessary in order to use your current Pennsylvania address.
