Hi Nalinie and we appreciate you reaching out to us on TD Helps with your question.
Thanks for considering us and even though you may not currently have a Social Security number at this time, please have no worries as you'd still be able to open an account. To open an account, you'd want to visit one of our TD Bank Stores during lobby hours. You may check out our locations and hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to review the different types of accounts we offer so that you can find one that best suits your needs. To view and compare our Checking accounts, please visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a Checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, and we also have a Savings Selector Tool in which you can look here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM to help you choose the best savings account for you.
Once you're ready to open the account(s), you will need to bring two forms of identification with you to the TD Bank Store to open the account(s). One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question and please do not hesitate to ask us any additional questions. Have a nice day.
