We offer many different types of Checking and Savings accounts. If you are a US citizen or permanent resident, you will need a valid US street address in order to open an account with us.

Once you have decided the type of the account you wish to open, you may visit www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at (888) 751-9000 with any questions you may have and set up your new account via telephone.
As always, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank store to speak with a banking specialist regarding new account options to determine what product type fits you the best. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
If you are a Non-US resident and do not have SSN at this present time, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you and stop by your local TD Bank store during our lobby hours to set up your new account. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo

If you prefer, you can speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 by calling 1-877-700-2913, who can also assist you in opening the account by phone.
With either method, we request that you provide your name, street address, date of birth, Social Insurance number and valid identification to complete the account opening process. Please keep in mind that your Canadian consumer credit profile will also be used to verify your identity.
