That's a great question, Dianna and we'll be glad to assist!
You are able to view the different types of Business accounts that we offer online; however, at this time you will have to visit a TD Store in person, to open the account. Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe to view the different types of Business accounts we offer. As a feature on our webpage, TD Bank can also help by recommending an account for your needs with the Business Checking Selector Tool, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be happy to assist you over the telephone. You can reach them by dialing 855-278-8988.
Once you've found the account you'd like to open, it will be required for you and all signers to stop into a TD location to complete the opening process. You will need to bring the following with you: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification number for your business. To find a TD Store location near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are looking to open an LLC, additional documents will be needed. One of the documents listed above is required for account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
If you are looking to open a Non-Profit Organization and it is Incorporated, please include the additional following information: State Website Report, Filed or Certified Business Formation Documents, or Certificate of Good Standing/Existence. Additionally, you will need to bring the Corporate Resolution documents. If your Non-Profit Organization is not incorporated, no additional documentation is required for this account type.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions and have a great afternoon.
