Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Joanne! We'll be glad to provide some information for you this evening regarding our business accounts.
If you're a Non- US resident, you would need to present two secondary forms of ID during the account opening process. Take a look below at what forms of ID are acceptable:
· Welfare ID with Photo
· State Issued Driver's License with Signature, no Photo
· Foreign Driver's License with Photo
· US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
· College ID with Photo
· Firearms Permit with Photo
· Alien Registration Card with Photo
· Permanent Resident Card with Photo
Prior to visiting a Store, we suggest reviewing the types of business accounts. If you take a look here, http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe , the link shows the types of business checking accounts that we offer. Our web page can even make a selection based on your needs with the Business Checking Selector tool:http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be happy to assist you over the telephone. You can reach them by dialing 855-278-8988.
Those who are going to be signers on the account need to bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
When you're ready to open your account, please visit any TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this answers your question and take care, Joanne!
