Great to have you with us today and we'd love to welcome you to TD!
To answer your question, yes! You can open an account with us even if you don't have a Social Security number right now. In order to do so, you will just need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. When you're ready to stop in, for our hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Before stopping in, you might like to check out the types of accounts we currently offer. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or, you can use our Checking Selector http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting an account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM as well, which can help you choose after answering a couple quick questions.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport with photo or valid non-US Passport and Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We hope this answers all your questions but if not, Adam, you can always give us a call. We're available for you at 888-751-9000, or feel free to write us back here! Just click 'Reply' in the upper right corner to chat with us again.
We hope this helps and look forward to talking with you about this again soon!

Your answer is very helpful. Is there any possibility to scan and email these documents in order open the account on-line? Maybe even set up an on-line meeting?
In addition, if there is really no any possibility to open account like this online (which would be really the most helpful), can I open account on one location - for example Orlando, but set my primary banking location in Miami?
Thank you very much for any information you can provide!
