It is great to hear from you, Yolanda, thanks for coming by TD Helps! Thank you for considering TD Bank for you banking needs.
Before we begin, we'd like to share with you the many types of Savings Accounts TD Bank has to offer. Prior to opening an account we encourage you to view and compare our savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you've decided on the best account for you, you can open a savings account online by selecting the "Open Account" box located beneath each account available. To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.
You also have the options to open the account over the phone, 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or in person. The documents that you will need to open the account are the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport). To open the account at your local TD Store please take a look at our hours and locations here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks for stopping by, Yolanda. Have a lovely day!
