Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your inquiry, Carl. We'll be glad to provide you with some information today.
If you are under the age of 18 and wish to open a Checking or Savings account, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our nearby TD Bank Stores to open a joint account. If you do visit us to open an account, please keep in mind that both of you and your parent or guardian will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security number. As you are a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.
We invite you to take a look at our many different types of Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool here http://bit.ly/KmmHe7 for help choosing a Checking account that is the best fit for you.
